EVENT | Hull Bloggers summer meet up 2015.

Firstly id like to apologise for me been MIA these past couple of weeks, Lots of things have accumulated to my lack of blogging, But its finally here, the very exciting #HBAlPorto Summer Meet post!
If you follow me on Twitter you'll have seen I was very excited about this event and in actual fact I won a prize for been the most excited blogger on Twitter.
I won two Twig + Dot candles which smell divine.

I was so excited to see my #HullBloogers and to welcome some new ones into our group, there a great bunch! The Event was at Al Porto, A newly refurbished Italian restaurant on hull marina.

After having a chat and our own #HullBloggers cocktail we had the chance to go talk to some of the stall holders about there products, Lush, Weleda & Viridian were all there and it was nice to talk to each of them about there brands. I was lucky enough to get a hand ex-foliation and massage from lush. Each of them gave us a goodie bag which was very kind of them. (reviews coming soon)

Al Porto staff brought round canapés which were delicious.

A raffle was held to raise money for The Eve Appeal, The Eve Appeal is a registered charity, formed in 2002 who work hard to raise money to fund the research of Women's Cancer, We raised over £200 for them, which is just amazing!!!
I won a few bits,

We also received three bags full of products and we had to bring our own bag to fill. (which will be in a separate post) We were all over whelmed at the amount of things we were given and so great full for it all.

We also got the #HBAlPorto trending on twitter, WOOOOOW!!

AND BREATH ... Thats a long one!
Id like to thank Alex, Kat & Jenny on organising an amazing event and getting all those amazing brands to send us products. We are all truly grateful for your hard work and I hope we have another event very soon.
Keep an eye out for my goodie bag post were ill talk through all the things I received.

THANKS SO MUCH FOR READING.

Lush: Sex Bomb Bath Ballistic.

First of all can I just say how beautiful this looks.
its so vibrant with the pinks & purples, I also love the little paper rose in the top.
I LOVE lush products, they smell amazing and don't irritate my skin, even with the colourings and perfumes in them.

Sex bomb is an old classic in Lush, its one of the originals, as far as im aware.
It was created to release stress and anxiety.
The Jasmine helps reduce stress, Ylang Ylang soothes your worries & Clary sage clears the mind.

A bath ballistic is designed to fizz and explode a blast of colour into your bath, its an experience & makes your bath time a little exciting.

How beautiful is that!
Not only do you get a blast of colour your whole bath room is inject with a gorgeous smell.

Ombre bath.
The whole bath goes a beautiful vibrant pink.
You'd probably think that it would stain you and your bath but surprisingly it doesn't.
I have quite sensitive skin and so far I Haven't had any reactions to any of the bath bombs or bubble bars that iv used.

Relaxing Bath Time Routine.

I'm not sure about any one else but I have two ways of bathing/showering.
I never have a 'bath' if im washing my hair, I have a shower.
Baths are a time of relaxation for me.

I thought id use a lush bath bomb that iv not used yet, its one of the Easter bombs called 'fluffy egg', It smells divine, its really sweet like you could eat it!!

It makes your bath soooooooo pink (this picture doesn't do it justice)

I like to watch a bit of you-tube when im in the bath now and again, here im watching pixiwoo on dailymix.

When I have a relaxing bath I like to treat my skin rather then just washing it with a regular body wash, especially my face.

I use the nspa hot cloth polish to cleanse my face and take my make up off, I reeeeally love this stuff.
I then use the body shop self warming mineral mask, this stuff is amazing it really does get warm but not to an uncomfortable temperature, its really relaxing.

Insert Embarrassing face shots here ...

I'm SOOOOOO sorry.

I then wash and shave the obvious places using a body wash, I used a Radox one this time.

I then put on my lush 'king of skin' this stuff is amaze balls!! iv never felt my skin feel so soft EVER, you apply it when your skins wet and let it soak in and then rinse.

Although the bath bomb is VERY pink it didn't stain me or the bath at all so I was very pleased about that, cleaning the bath was the last thing I wanted to be doing when I got out.

Insert cheesy shot here ...

Here's me all fresh faced and feeling relaxed ;D also very yellow, bad lighting!
Let me know in the comments if you use any of the products shown or any you think I should try, I'm always looking for new bath goodies.
