My Friends Wedding.

My Friends Wedding.

I've known linzi for approximately 10 years, We went to high school together and we met at the start of Year 7, We hit it off straight away and we were best friends all through school.
When we left school my whole friends group drifted apart until about a year and half ago when linzi, hannah and myself started talking and meeting up again (After nearly 4 years).
We all had changed a lot, We'd grew up, turned into adults & got our own little lives but nothing had changed between us, it still felt like when we were at school. linzi had a beautiful baby girl & was engaged to craig, thats where this blog starts.

I was honored to be invited to witness her special day, The ceremony was at our local church, its an absolutely beautiful and extremely spiritual place.
I went to a Church of England primary school so i was very familiar with this particular church as we attended services every easter and christmas.

When i saw linzi walk down the isle with her dad i welled up, she looked stunning.
Her dress was very 'Linzi' big and princessy, her veil was blinged up head to toe.
The gents wore grey with coral button holes, they looked very handsome.

The bridesmaids wore gorgeous coral dresses, her two flower girls wore white puffy dresses (extremely cute) her daughter (one of the flower girls) wore a white cape with hers she looked adorable.

As hannah and myself drove up to Rowley Manor we couldn't believe how stunning it was, acres of land, large manor house with huge rooms and high ceilings, perfect setting for a wedding reception.

We got bucks fizz on arrival which was a lovely touch as there was a little wait while linzi and craig had there pictures taken in the beautiful grounds of the manor house.

I sneaked into the room as she was having pictures taken and took one for myself, I think she looked like a princess in this shot.

The tables were simple but classy and sophisticated, the candelabra held real candles, the chairs had silver and coral bows.

The food was AMAZING, i ate the lot.
I wasn't sure what we had to start but it tasted like turkey and stuffing terrine wrapped in parma ham, a pate on top with thin toast and a very strong pickle (which i wasn't keen on)
For main there was rare roast beef with a giant yorkshire pudding, (there was veg and  fondant potatoes, but they came shortly after and i forgot to take a picture of them) red wine gravy and horseradish sauce.
Dessert was mouth watering, banoffee mess (speaks for itself).
We were given a glass of complimentary wine to have with the meal.

The favors had personalised sweetheart sweets with the date of the wedding, such a lovely touch.

The cake was amazing, once again, very linzi. It had crystals hanging from each tier and crystals all over the cake. It was so beautiful.

(Excuse the blurry image, it was dark)
The first dance was lovely, id never heard the song before, something about 'lady in white' it didn't matter though because that made it even more special, as if it was wrote for them.

I had such a lovely day and i was honored to be apart of such a beautiful day.
